# Marketplace EPR Evidence Pack

Start with the producer-registration information and registration number for the destination Member State, then add only the evidence needed for the platform request and the underlying national route: public-register proof, PRO/system participation, EPR Authorised Representative evidence, declaration/reporting evidence or regulatory-payment records where relevant. PPWR Article 45 also requires an in-scope online platform to obtain a producer self-certification concerning EPR compliance.

## PPWR Article 45

Article 45(4) of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 requires in-scope online platforms, before allowing producers to use their services, to obtain producer-registration information and registration number(s) for the Member State where the consumer is located, plus a producer self-certification confirming EPR compliance for the packaging offered there.

Marketplace interfaces differ. eBay publishes an EU packaging-number and self-certification workflow. Etsy publishes country-specific EPR workflows for Germany, France and Spain. Kaufland publishes marketplace-country registration-entry differences. Amazon uses account-specific Seller Central compliance workflows, so unverified country fields are never invented here.

Registration, PRO participation, EPR AR appointment, reporting, payment, marketplace submission and marketplace acceptance are separate evidence claims. The engine never lets one document silently stand in for all of them.

### Where do I add packaging EPR information on eBay?
eBay currently publishes a workflow under Account Settings → Business Info → Extended Producer Responsibility registration numbers. Sellers select the country and Packaging category, enter the registration number and complete the certification step.

### Which Etsy countries have a published packaging-EPR workflow?
Etsy currently publishes country-specific EPR help for Germany, France and Spain. The engine does not copy those exact portal instructions to another Member State.

### Can one evidence pack cover several EU countries?
Use a separate country evidence context because Article 45 registration information is Member-State specific and national registrations, PROs, AR arrangements and marketplace fields can differ.

### What should I keep after a listing is reinstated?
Retain the original marketplace request or rejection, submitted evidence, correction response, platform outcome/reference and reinstatement evidence together with the national evidence that supported the submission.
