Select the Member States where your legal entity sells packaged products. The checker recalculates the Producer role for every selected country, then maps representation, registration, EPR-system, declaration, payment, evidence and marketplace work.
No company name, email address or contact data is required. Countries that share the same sales chain can be checked together.
Use the legal entity that invoices the customer or is the seller under the sales contract.
Separate final consumers or professional end users from independent importers, distributors or resellers.
A logistics provider that only moves or fulfils goods is not treated as a separate commercial reseller in this question.
This question records the operating scope. It does not replace the separate national packaging-category classification used for tariffs and reporting.
Select one country or all 27. The Producer role is recalculated independently for every selected destination.
No country selected.
A separate subsidiary and a branch are different legal structures. This field records that fact without silently changing the seller selected in question 1.
How it works
The checker uses the same commercial-chain logic as the Producer Status Checker and then adds the current national operating layer without treating legacy national infrastructure as a completed final Article 44 transition.
For this packaged-product sales flow, seller establishment, destination, end-user/reseller status and the direct commercial supplier determine the country result.
Article 44 requires registration in each Member State where the Producer first makes packaging or packaged products available or unpacks packaged products without being an end user.
An EU-established Producer under the relevant cross-border Producer routes appoints an EPR Authorised Representative by written mandate in each other destination Member State. Third-country appointment is determined by national law.
The online platform collects the required registration information and EPR self-certification. The underlying Producer registration, representation, system, declaration, payment and evidence remain separate obligations.
Dataset status
A mapped route means the operating authority/register/system layer is identified in the research set. It does not mean a seller is automatically ready to sell or that a national transition is complete.
Authority, current registration/onboarding infrastructure and PRO/system route are represented for every EU Member State.
The same transaction is recalculated separately for every selected destination.
The common national operating dataset review date is 29 August 2026.
No fee amount is generated in this checker. Numeric costs belong in the EPR Cost Estimator using verified current sources.
